1) To take place or happen
① My son never told me what went on at school.
나의 아들은 학교에서 무슨 일이 있었는지 나에게 말한 적이 없다.
② My mom likes to know what's going on.
나의 엄마는 무슨 일이 벌어지고 있는지 알기를 원하신다.
③ These are the knds of things that go on in our society.

2) To proceed or move forward
