This is Elsdaddy. Today, we're going to learn the essential expressions that you can use at the laundry. First, these are expressions used to leave your clothes at the laundry. Then, shall we look at the example sentences?

1. Leaving Clothes to the Laundry

1) I need these shirts washed.
이 셔츠들 세탁하고 싶은데요.
2) I’d like to have this shirt washed.
이 셔츠 세탁하고 싶어요.
3) I’m here to get this stuff cleaned.
세탁 맡기려고 왔어요.
4) Can I get these dry cleaned?
이 옷들 드라이클리닝을 맡기고 싶어요.
5) Please clean and press this shirt.
이 셔츠 세탁하고 다려주세요.
6) This is a suede jacket. There are stains on the front.
스웨이드 재킷인데요. 앞에 얼룩이 있어요.
7) I guess I spilled something on my suit. I have a bunch of stains here.
양복에 뭔가 쏟았나 봐요. 얼룩이 잔뜩 있어요.
8) Can you get these stains out?
이 얼룩들 좀 지워 주시겠어요?
9) Could you remove the stains on my suit?
이 정장에 얼룩들 좀 지워 주시겠어요?
10) Can you just remove the stains not the whole garment?
전체 옷은 아니고 딱 그 얼룩만 제거할 수 있나요?

 

11) I need it soon though so I'm hoping to pick it up as soon as possible
빨리 필요해서 가능하다면 빨리 찾고 싶어요.
12) I have 2 coats for dry cleaning.　/ I have 2 coats to clean.
코트 두 벌 드라이클리닝 / 세탁하려고요.
13) Do you wash dress shirts by the day after tomorrow?
이 셔츠들 내일모레까지 세탁해 줄 수 있나요?
14) The cleaning tag says it shouldn’t be washed in hot water.
세탁 취급 시 주의 사항에 뜨거운 물로 세탁하면 안 된다고 쓰여있어요.
15) The cleaning tag says it should be washed only in cold water.
세탁 취급 시 주의 사항에 차가운 물로만 세탁하라고 쓰여있어요.
16) This garment is dry cleaning only.
이 옷은 드라이클리닝만 해야 해요.
17) The fabric is so delicate. Please be careful when you get it cleaned.
이 천(옷감)이 약해요. 쉽게 상할 수 있어요. 세탁할 때, 조심해 주세요.
