엘스대디입니다. 오늘은 세탁소에서 사용하는 필수 영어 표현 3 번째 이야기, 수선하기입니다. 그럼 예문을 살펴볼까요?

Hello!
This is Elsdaddy. This is the third time that we are going to learn the essential expressions that you can use at the laundry. Especially, these are expressions when you drop off some clothes to be mended. Let's take a look at example sentences.

1. Having Clothes Altered

 1) Do you do alterations?

 수선도 하시나요?

 2) I washed it and it got faded and shrunk. Can you fix it?

 이걸 세탁했는데 색깔이 흐려지고 줄었어요. 고칠 수 있나요?

 3) This is a wool sweater. When I washed it, it got run.

 울 스웨터인데 빨았더니 올이 풀렸어요.

 4) Can you repair it with the same color thread?

 같은 색상 실로 수선해줄 수 있나요?

 5) These pants are too long. Can you alter them?

 바지 기장이 좀 긴데 줄여 줄 수 있나요?

 6) Ok. put them on first, please.

 일단 입어보시죠.

 7) I need you to put on the dress to measure you. The fitting room is over there.

 치수를 재려면 일단 드레스를 입으셔야 합니다. 피팅룸은 저쪽에 있습니다.

 

 

 

 8) Can you cut the bottom of the both legs and hem them?

 밑단 기장 줄이고 단 만들어 주세요.

 9) I want to keep the original ham.

 원래 밑단 그냥 그대로 붙여 주세요.

 10) I pinned how much I wanted to take in.

 줄이고 싶은 만큼 핀을 꽂아 왔어요.

 11) We can shorten the length by 2inches and tighten it a bit by an inch on the waist. Then it'll fit like a glove.

 기장을 2인치 줄이고 허리를 1인치 정도 줄일 수 있습니다. 그럼 꼭 맞겠네요.

 12) Please raise the hem about 5 cm.

 5cm 정도 단을 올려 주세요.

 13) Could you also replace the zipper with a corset?

 지퍼를 코르셋으로 교체해 주실 수 있나요?

 14) How much would it be cost for all the alterations?

 모두 수선하면 비용이 얼마나 들까요?
