Today, we are going to learn the phrase, 'run into' which means to go into some location very quickly or briefly, especially for some particular purpose, to collide or cause someone or something to collide with or into someone or something else, to encounter or enter into some undesirable condition or state, to encounter someone by chance, to grow or accumulate into some very large number or amount, etc. Let's take a look at example sentences.

1) To go into some location very quickly or briefly, especially for some particular purpose

 ① I am running Kane into town for his Taekwondo lessons.
